Meet the Pastor Mary Anne Biggs is a graduate of Chicago Theological Seminary. She received her Masters of Divinity degree in May, 2009 and was ordained in the United Church of Christ in November, 2009. She received her B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in 1973. Mary Anne answered her call to ministry after working for twenty-five years as the administrator for a non-profit trust. She came to the Nekoosa United Church of Christ to serve as pastor in August 2006. After living all of their lives in Texas, Mary Anne’s family came to the beautiful state of Wisconsin upon her husband John’s retirement as an elementary school principal. John is now working for the Plainfield, Wisconsin school district as a high school Spanish teacher.
