Meet our Pastor

Mary Anne Biggs is a third year seminary student at Chicago Theological Seminary.  She is on the ordination track in the United Church of Christ and will graduate with a Masters of Divinity degree in May 2009.  She received her B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in 1973.  She answered her call to ministry after working for twenty-five years as the administrator for a non-profit trust. Mary Anne came to the Nekoosa United Church of Christ to serve as pastor in August 2006.  She also serves as pastor of the Babcock Community Church in Babcock, Wisconsin.

After living all of their lives in Texas, Mary Anne’s family came to the beautiful state of Wisconsin upon her husband John’s retirement as an elementary school principal.  John is now working for the Plainfield, Wisconsin school district.  Their daughter Mary Cate is a high school student in Nekoosa.  Their son John remains in Texas where he is working.
